2025 Navajoland Mission Trip Registration and Payment: June 14-21

Our relationship with people of Navajoland has deeply shaped who we are as a family of faith. There is no way to recreate the sort of community building this sort of experience provides. To this end, we strongly encourage you to consider joining this unique, one of a kind, life-changing experience. You can travel as an individual, as a family (we have had toddlers before!), or teens are welcome to join us without parents with their approval and the completion of required permission forms.

Deadline to register is June 1, 2025 (or until the trip fills). For general questions, email our Vicar, Miles, mbrandon@stjuliansaustin.org. Those not traveling with us will have opportunities to participate through donating toward the work project, prayers, and a celebration once we return with pics and stories.
St. Julian's will be returning to our friends in Navajoland June 14-21 (Farmington, NM). All (including all ages) are invited to travel with us. We call this annual event a pilgrimage, as we go to encounter God in fresh ways among people different from ourselves, learn from our Navajo friends, worship morning and evening, and serve (and we have a ton of fun!).

Our work project is renovating bathrooms at two churches, and will be a significant focus of our time in Navajoland. We will also be breaking bread with our Navajo friends, visiting important local historical sites, and building deeper connections among those with whom we travel. We will travel by van and stay in hotels while on the road. While in Navajoland, we will be staying in their hospitality house in shared dormitories.

The cost of the trip is $500 for an individual or $950 for a family of 2 or more. Most costs are included (room, board, travel and local excursions) with the exception of food while on the road, an occasional ice cream shop, and any other souvenirs collected along the way (we suggest about $200 of spending money per person). Financial assistance is available by contacting our Vicar, Miles, directly or can be noted on the form below.

One important note about lodging, depending on the size of the group and individual needs, we may have the ability to arrange for a block of hotel rooms in Farmington for people to stay in rather than the hospitality house. If this is something you would like to consider, please contact Miles (or note below on question about dormitories).
Please note that the cost of hotel rooms in Farmington (5 nights) will be an additional charge above what is stated above. Though rooms could be shared with family members or double occupancy with two adults (thus decreasing cost), you should consider this option increasing the cost of the trip by about $750 or $150 per night (this is an estimation).
